April 14th, 2004 10:49 PM #1mga peeps gus2 ko sana pabutasan yung rotor disc ko n parang brembo...... pero anu anu kaya maging side effef nito... BTW pina reface ko n tong rotor ko hind naman nagwewego pagnagprepreno,.... para pumorma lang ng konti.... what do u think??? ty a bunch s mag magrereply takot ko kasi baka pag binutasan ko mag wego or magcrack pag mainit n kasi yung brother ko nagpalit ng rotor disk na brembo n ventilated nakakingit kasi e ty",)

hindi ba iba ang steel properties ng tunay na brembo rotors sa stock rotors? baka lumambot lang yang stock rotors mo kapag pinabutasan mo. bumili ka nalang ng tunay na brembo, imho.

try to contact Auto_Xer, he can do cross drilled rotors safely, dapat kse may certain number and distance yung mga holes, try mo din yung z-speed na brand yata, arnd 12t a pair pang civic, the shop is along e.rodriguez ave., near espana

trup, ganun din yung sabe skin ni mato sakin e may kakilala n b kyo n nagpabutas and wala side effeks....ty a lot

A famous machine shop told me it is a very risky task. But their customers still insist on doing it. Minsan di naman perfect and balancing na nagagawa sa drilled rotors.
Bili ka na nga lang ng pre-drilled na, then balance it before mounting it on your vehicle para siguradong walang brake shrudder and failure.

Unless you plan to go on the track or drive really hard in the mountains, upgrading your stock pads, lines, and brake fluid will be quite a good improvement.
Cross drilled rotors dont really give better braking distances but rather give better fade resistance. If you get aftermarket rotors, get dimpled or slotted ones as opposed to drilled ones as these can crack easier.

i have a slightly used brembo rotors w/c i used to use at the rear brakes of my civic, pero di sya cross drilled.....4sale
