    mga sir, magandang araw...

patulong naman, after ko mag pa change oil at ATF, nagkaroon ng malakas na vibration sa interior ng kotse pag naka D o R, manibela at dashboard at front seats lakas ng vibration... tapos lumalakas pag naka on ang a/c... pero wala yung vibration pag naka P o N... ano kaya ang problema? accord 94 A/T pala tsikot ko.

sabi ng mekaniko sa shop na nag change oil at ATF, normal daw yun... sabi ko bago magchange oil at ATF walang ganung vibration... normal daw... so umalis ako kasi inisip ko baka mawala... nung dec 19 ako nagpa change oil at ATf... hangang ngayon ganun pa din, kahit buong araw ako nag babyahe ganun pa din kalakas ang vibration. tulong po....

1 hindi yan normal. saan ka ba nagpagawa?
2 check your fluid levels, baka kulang.
3 correct type of atf ba ang nilagay?

try to check both oil, smell it,mabango ang engine oil at medyo nasty naman ang atf,and go abck to your mechanic and ask them what is really happen to your car,for sure hindi normal yan, baka baliktad ang pagkalagay nila sa oil, engine oil to tranny and atf to engine,

OMG!

Bro, give us the name of that shop para naman maging aware din kami at maiwasan namin in case na magpapa engine oil at ATF change kami.

    Salamat.

could be a busted engine support in the middle. basta its near the firewall. if you haven't replaced it yet then it could be the cause of vibration.

during the change of atf baka may nahugot na small hoses that give vacuum to your idle up switch.

But wouldn't it vibrate in park and neutral also if it's the engine support? I think it's one of the plugs or plug wires as someone mentioned.

i dunno but with my previous accord, it did vibrate like that. at first i thought its an idle problem but it was indeed the hydraulic engine support.

the most probable reason for the vibration is the engine support...you said it yourself that it doesnt vibrate when on P & N...naturally it wont vibrate on those positions because the engine is sitting idle unlike in D or R position wherein the engine swings back and forth

the thread starter stated that the vib came out after the atf was change. I don't see any connection between the atf and the engine supports, unless the atf contains acid and was accidental spilled on the engine support to ruin it or the mechanics were careless enough to pull the plugs wires from their sockets while the fluid was being change..

i had this problem before and its with the engine support, try checking it, maybe it just gave way.

you can also try checking the fluids of the tranny and level.

    *wrap3pull2:

Are the symptoms felt with the vehicle stopped and you stepping on the brake, or when moving as well? Do you have a tachometer, and if you do, what RPM does it read at idle in D or R with your footbrake activated, and what RPM does it read in P or N?

Answering the above questions may rule out idling problems.

salamat ulit mga sirs... merry christmas. ingat! dont drink and drive.

Start looking for other problems then, because you said it does not vibrate when moving so it's an idling issue.

If going for engine mounts, usually there are three or four in your car. One is on each side of the engine mounted to the frame. Check that the rubber is intact and not torn, and check for play too. There shouldn't be any. There is also one sa center subframe usually, right behind and under the radiator, check that the same way. There may be another one behind the engine, near the exhaust area, but I'm not familiar with these cars so just look around.

If going for fluids, check that the transmission fluid is bright red, has no burnt smell, and is filled to the correct level. Check that the engine oil is golden, has no burnt smell, and is also filled to the correct level. If possible, do you know what kind of oil they put in?

Also, look around the engine oil filter and transmission area for any spots where the mechanic may have pulled something out of spec. There may be pulled wires/hoses/cables that may be causing your car's strong vibrations.

Of course, if you can't find anything wrong with these, bring it back to them and have them fix it. Services usually have a warranty period and you should still be able to have it fixed. If not, have them refund the money back to you and find another shop.

If they claim it's normal, it's not. There is no need for adjustment when replacing fluids if they replaced it with the correct type.

it doesn't vibrate when moving kasi mataas na rpm nya. pag sira na yun engine support may vib pa rin, pero minimal. bumababa yun rpm niya kasi may load na aircon, tranny when in drive. dapat kasi maintain un rpm mo kahit anung load niya. tignan mo yun idle up switch kung mayrun nito. may small hose yun minsan nagkakabutas or nahuhugot. di mo masyado mapapansin yun. pede din nag katataon nasira yun supports po, pa check mo na din. Merry Christmas to ALL!!!!
