Mga pare ko, pwede kayang gamiting yung roofing insulation as carpet underlayer sa flooring ng mga kotse?
Yung roofing insulation ay yung nabibili sa mga hardware at home depot na foam na may foil on one side or both sides.
Hindi kaya madurog ito kapag tinatapakan? Ano sa tingin ninyo? Thanks...

I'm no expert on that matter.

But we are using the same material for the same purpose in our Ford project.

wont work out for a couple of reasons, assuming you ARE putting it sa flooring.

yung aluminum roofing insulation pang shield lang sya ng heat, it offers no sound absorbsion (obviously, kasi non-porous sya).

you can buy insulation foam na pang carpet/upholstery from upholstery shops.

Another option is Acoustifoam, but it's more expensive and makapal sya medyo.

masusunog pag yun ang nilagay mo na insulation specially sa malapit sa exaust system. try mo maghanap ng checkerd foam, yung ang talagang nilalagay sa floor for insulation. its more expensive than the roof insulation but lasts longer kahit apakan mo pa.

why noy try the 3M flashband...it is more expensive than the foam, but it is going to be cheaper than branded ones like dynamat.
