my brother's civic 2001 vti got wrecked recently. bumped from behind. pumasok yung likod. engine wasnt touched.
he's gonna get more money to buy his next car if i buy the wreck from him rather than insurance pays him off the total of the car.
advisable ba to just buy it from him and spend for restoration? madali lang ba i-align yung body and takbo?

kung hindi natamaan yung suspension parts, madali lang yan. pag natamaan kasi suspension parts and na-disaligned, medyo mahirap ibalik sa dating alignment.
or pwede kang bumili ng half-cut or rear cut ng civic para mas mabilis. hindi ko lang alam kung how much ang gagastusin.Signature

Post ka naman pix para makita how bad it is. Kasi minsan if it's really bad kahit anong ayos mo iba na ang takbo. I would imagine kung ok pa chassis at hindi na-disalign ang rear wheels, meaning purely kaha lang ang nagalaw, baka puwede pa. Insurance naman yata babayad ng repair.

The late Arthur Tuason's dad, Ed Tuason, used to specialize in collision repair. His shop was the Entente, located along Edsa near the V.V. Soliven Complex in Mandaluyong. It folded up in the early 90s. I just don't know if they still maintain a shop somewhere in the metro.

ill go have a look see. as far as it was described, may tama yung suspension. i think better to pass up na lang. mahirap na. safety is always the priority.

evergreen, pag tinamaan na ang chassis sa likod, medyo mahirap na i-correct ang mga suspension parts at alignment sa likod...
better have it checked and get some recommendations from restoration professionals.

pa chassis align mo sa velocity motors para sure na maayos yung pagka restore
alas, a nose is easily fatigued. hence its unreliability.
