June 5th, 2007 09:11 PM #2More than likely, cable lang nga yan. Madali lang namang i-DIY yan, although you may run into some issues sa pagbabaklas ng dash mo. Things like, ayaw pang matanggal, yun pala may natitira pang turnilyo, etc. Pag nailabas mo na yung speedo, try turning the gear on the back by hand. Dapat mabilis para pumalo yung needle. That'll tell you if it's the speedo or the cable that's broken.
As for the price, sorry I have no idea.

Yung speedo, tach (kung meron), fuel and other gauges, usually isang piraso lang yan.
The other end of the cable goes to the tranny. It connects to what looks like a slot where you would insert an oil or ATF dipstick, pero maliit lang yung butas nya. So, wala ka nang babaklasin on that end.
Choice I would have made as well.
