yup, the mazda 626 has an interference-type engine :O

at least the I4 2.0L (wala namang V6 na 626 dito...)

so i guess timing belt comes first. shocks last. i also have to adjust the idle.. it's set too low and namamatay-matay ang stereo when mababa ang revs. those ^&$%^#$! at rapide claimed that the battery and alternator are ok, but namatayan ako ng makina kaninang 12:30 a.m. sa roxas boulevard tapos ayaw na mag-start. had to sit there for ten minutes para maka-"recover" yung battery. buti nalang nakauwi pa ako.

imho, why don't you try getting a second opinion, specially dun sa suspension?

like everyone else out here, i would suggest giving priority dun sa engine-related repairs (oil seals, timing belt) dahil once these parts break down, there is no way your car can run. yung sa suspension, although you may get a really uncomfortable ride (not to mention with a little risk), pwede mo pang ipostpone.

I agree with Bossing Happy_Gilmore, fix the T-Belt and PS pump or engine related problems first, saka na muna yung suspension system.
