Some say Brando is good. Medyo may kamahalan nga lang.

Ano recommended ninyong brand ng belt?

Hmm.. I think the brand you are pertaining to is Bando brand. Made by Bandag Incorporated, internationally recognized recapping company.

Some other brands are Gates of USA & Mitsuboshi of Japan (some say it is locally made).

Those that i see as OEM on Jap cars are Mitsuboshi, and Bando. Gates is good also but mahal din. I'm using Dayco sa pick-up ko now but i still havent passed 2 years with is so wala pang feedback (so far so good).

Gates is widely considered to be OK. In fact I have a publication from a US repair company (PDF I downloaded) with complete Gates belt guide.

About the "medyo mahal..." it's funny, I bought a Gates timing belt, it cost 1/3rd of the OEM belt.
