    Hi ANy recommendation na shop for timing belt replacement?

    Car os 97 GSR lancer. How much kaya? any idea?

    1500 ata standard labor charge para sa change timing belt, idling bearing, water pump, etc.

    had mine done at speedyfix along santolan (just across wheel gallery)

    I had mine done at SpeedyFix too a bit over a year ago... 1,500 ang labor. Got the parts from the Casa para puwedeng card hehe. 4T plus yata yung belt at tensioner bearing. Suggest you get OEM parts because these are critical.

    Also, there are other threads about it, might wanna browse them.

    Me suki akong mekaniko dyan sa shell coastal. Si Elmer. 99 lancer akin. Nung time na magpapalit ako ng timing belt, nilipat sya sa shell binan ng boss nya. Dami pwede gumawa sa shop pero diko pinagawa. Bumili ako ng parts sa ATCO pasay. Pumunta ako ng Binan at sa kanya ko pinakabit. The reason why I always seek this guy for anything with regards to my cars? Napakalinis gumawa. Very precise ang moves, Magalang and you can tell that he really knows what he is doing.

    YES ! SPEEDYFIX ka na .... dun din ako nagpapalit ng timing belt a month ago. OK na OK ang mekaniko nila .... wala akong back job.

    ....matagal ba magpalit ng timing belt? and kelan ba talaga dapat magpalit, 60k o 80k kms.? yun sabi saken ng mekaniko dati, either of the 2. nawala na kasi manual ko eh.

    normally before 80 pero ohters wants to be sure kaya mga 60 or 70 pa lang

    had my bro revo replaced the timing belt at goodyear servitek along g. araneta and my golly kala namin rip-off ung 1,650 for the labor only(d pa kasama ung ilaw sa dashboard which is 495). but by reading the post here ganito pala yung price d2 sa manila hehehe.. sa province kc our trusted mechanic will only 300 petot kasama na pati minor adjustment...

    i had mine done at minerva tire at filinvest alabang three months ago.
    had my timing belt bought at el dorado festival mall. the timing belt costs 1600.

    other parts replaced:

    water pump replacement 900 pesos.
    tensioner bearing replacement 1100 pesos.
    alternator belt/aircon belt (forgot how much)
    engine support right part replacement (800 +++ pesos)
    labor costs around 1500.

    inabot din ako ng mga 7000++ .

    agree with taptap. kay migs 'speedyfix' mo na lang dalhin. specialty nila yan.
    ray is more of a mitsu man, but can also work with hondas.
