September 20th, 2004 10:48 AM #11I used to be a faithful rapide customer until I read that thread in the other forum about one of their mechanics pouring oil to the sparkplug socket. :-|
I forwarded the thread to the email address of their CSR. Though they confirmed the incident, it took them 1 week to reply to my email. Lalu tuloy akong na turn off sa kanila.

We had our Corolla 1990 tuned up in Rapide Pasay road. ang MAHAL! tapos nagkamali pa ng computation sa babayaran namin. Kaya, nag thunder service nalang kami sa Toyota Shaw. Hinding hindi na kami babalik sa Rapide.

September 20th, 2004 11:08 AM #13Ayun pa nga pala ang isang hindi maganda sa shop na iyan. They do not like to 'fix' parts. I guess it would be too time consuming and not good for the business.

kung change oil lang, puwede na sa rapide. Yung P499 promo nila change oil (AC Delco), filter and wheel alignment is very cheap compared kung magpapa change oil ka sa Shell, Petron or Caltex. Bayad ka kasi labor pag nag pa service to these gas stations. They also accept major credit cards na walang surcharges. Yun nga lang mahal talag piyesa nila and puro palit piyesa kagad sila "preventive maintenance" daw.
Most of the time I receive calls from their csutomer service reps asking me to evaluate their service and facilities.

Millenium ata yung name.

Saan branch ng Rapide ka nag-pagawa? Kasi it also happend to me also noong nagpagawa ako sa Rapid buendia branch nag-pareface ako ng brake rotor after 6 months bumalik ang ingay sa brake. About the service mahal talaga ang charge nila one time nga, nag-paestimate ako ng aircon walang hiya they charge me P24,600.00 sabi ko di bale na lang; linis nga lang ng aircon they charge P6,000.00 na eh kaya dinala ko na lang kay Mang Mario they only charge me P200.00.

September 21st, 2004 11:10 AM #19Rapide charges you a lot! Tama yung isang posting, they will just recommend that you replace the parts, they have never recommended to fix -- basta palitan lang! I used to go there before, but ayung nga, laging na-ooveruse ang credit card ko so para silang kasa kung magcharge! AND to make matters worse, di din naman kagandahan ang service nila!

September 21st, 2004 11:21 AM #20Would it be a good idea to get new tires from them? i'm thinking of getting from rapide(better living), servitek(better living), or bridgestone(the fort). Which store of the three would you guys recommend for good tires?
Mazda 3 is incredibly tempting, unfortunately the hybrid is not included in the coding exemption...
