sa speedlab or kay speedyfix alam ko meron RP...
yung pe'nost ko sa http://tsikot.yehey.com/forums/showt...593#post993593
3.4 Liters.
Thanks ulit sir rion...
So okay lang siguro RP 1oW3o sa 5k engine noh? What if 5W3o gagamitin ko? Okay lang ba?
I am now looking for an oil filter, air filter, & distributor o-ring.

I don't know if 5w-30 is still ok, maybe kung sa bagio ka nakatira. 10w-30 is the recommended nga. peru wala pa akong nakitang 10w-30 na magnetec dito eh...
Drey, since may edad narin ang Liteace mo (like ours), I would recommend na gumamit ka nalang ng mineral oil na 20w-50 (i.e. Shell, Caltex or Castrol). Indulging to a thinner oil will possibly post some problems (leaky seals, loose oil compression, more oil consumption etc.), less protection pati (lalo na kung di pa na-o-overhaul yan, top o general, maluluwag na internals nyan for sure).
Lastly, wag ka ng magpaligoy-ligoy pa sa ibang brand at viscosity ng langis, thicker oil = better protection so for me, imo, I would prefer using 20w-50 mineral oil....this would be fine!
Just my few cents bro, good luck anyway!
Thanks for the info rayban7g... Hmm... May point ka... Naguguluhan tuloy ako hehehe... 11 y.o. Na ang kotse, ang kinuha ko na viscosity ay 10W40 instead of the 10W30... Gusto ko lang ma try, less than 100 kms a week lang naman ako magpatakbo. Kaya I think there is no harm in trying... 101K kms pa ang Liteace...
hope no problems lang talaga since gusto ko tipid ang gaso...
in my opinion ok na yung 10w-40. 40max oil weight kung maiinit na yung makina. engine wear usualy occurs during cold startup kasi eh. lighter weight oil is good in the cold start.
or maybe 10w-50 kung myroon...
Sir Drey Good day. Uhm just would like to help kasi owner din ako ng liteace dito sa cebu. What I did to my liteace is use shell helix plus 10w-40, BOsch Oil Filter, Bosch platinum super 4, Bosch IC, change air filter element every year(use toyota OE), Use Caltex Vortex Silver w/ Techron, Installed Khaos, Align every 6 months, Used 17" wheels w/ 215/40ZR17 Tires from Dunlop. plus added power steering. and I used to get 1:11 even with aircon and 7 people city driving. But as what sir always yummy said change your engine to diesel if you want to get more power and km's for the given amount of fuel I would second the motion. Because I've modified my liteace to accomodate a 3C-T engine plus intercooler, new tranny, new tires from the said above to BFGoodrich 215/40ZR17 front and 235/45ZR17 rear. My liteace pala is model 1990. and for upholstery I spent almost 15k (change cushion, seat cover, carpet, and for the driver seat use leather. By the way there are more things that I add to the vehicle but I know that is for another topic. Again good day to you sir drey hope this could help.
Bay...
11 km/l imong gakakuha sa city with 3C-T? Dili man nako gusto engine swap because I am trying to make the van as stock as possible.
I have heard about Platinum 4's na Bosch... Pero some people here say na Platinum 4's are better on long drives. I only drive the van 2 times a week. Maximum na ata is 3, and that is less than 100 kms.
I bought a filter element just this afternoon... The brand is Koji. I don't know if this is good but it says made in Japan.
What kind of Ignition Coil do you use from Bosch? I have heard horror stories from this brand of IC. I will be using a VIC oil filter as well.
Regarding sa Khaos, does it work on your van? I've heard effective daw to sa mga Carb engines but reading the posts here. Walang epek daw kuno ni nga gadget.
And before I forget, Welcome diri sa tsikot.com bay!![]()

Sir Rion,
OT: Taga aha ka? :hihihi: May Liteace ka rin ba?

chekreet na lang po kung taga-saan ako.
May jdm townace yung papa ko, 2wd, 3c-t w/ intercooler + projector foglamps. Yung bro ko may jdm townace 4wd 2c-t. both 5-doors.
Gud day again mga sirs.
Uhm sir drey, what i meant by 1:11 ratio was for my 5k engine with the said components installed. and did my own adjustments to the carb and distributor. and super tipid driving 1800rpm tach reading 60kph max.
and sir rion, sa underside ng 2nd row seats just right after the airbox compartment there is a space there for an IC but you have to fabricate your own mountings and bend your own tubings. Got my IC pala from surplus IC ng Isuszu Trooper. and ang liteace ko ay local pala.
Thanx for welcoming me here in tsikot.
same here, my intercooler came from 4d56 pajero.
but mine is terrible... before the boost picks up, the meter goes -1psi... a little unresponsive compared to not having a IC. but the mid and high bands are really good. kaya mas prefer ko myroon ic.
how about yours?
Sir,
11 km/l in the city for a 5K?How did you do it? Share naman po kayo ng sekreto nyo... Please. :please:

Sir Drey
there is no secret just plain safe & smooth driving plus TLC sa sasakyan.
But one thing if you would really like to know how I did it "lean burn" some may say unsafe they're correct but if adjusted properly you could save on fuel. what I did is change my carb jets from 150-primary 120-secondary to smaller ones 120-primary 106-secondary. And add khaos as to avoid pumping losses during close throttle operation, also use thinner oil shell helix 10w-40. Advance Timing 10deg. BTDC. Installed 4-2-1 headers and larger diameter exhaust and larger muffler. aircon thermostat setting 3 dot. and use 70%-30% prestone coolant and distilled water to solve overheating problems but don't take out the thermostat. And use a nice fuel for me caltex vortex silver. ANd always check your brakes and adjust if needed. change gear oil tranny and diffs. to omega gear oils.
Sir rion
If I may ask which diesel fuel brand is best for you and what fuel brand are you using. and do you use additives? And what brand of boost/vaccum gauge did you buy and how much?
Thanks sir... This is noted for application in the future. But I still have doubts on Khaos...
Btw, Change in Carb Jets? What is that sir? Is that a part you need to replace on the van? If not done correctly, what happens to the engine?
iam3739.com
I really don't drive it much, my folks pays for the gas most of the time and they go to any gas stations. but I remember Petron did better mileage, however, I cannot bet on it. baka kasi different circumstances and factors yun...
we don't use additives, we use autoguage 2"inch boost+vacuum guage. bought in banawe for 1K. In my town it costs 1.5K
do you use any form of boost controller and blow off valve?
*Sir Rion,
What are the benefit of these?
we use autoguage 2"inch boost+vacuum guage.

bro yung jets that im talking about are the ones inside your carburetor that controls the amount of fuel when you step on the accelerator pedal. this objects looks likes screw with a tiny hole in the middle. when you change this things your really doing an carburetor overhaul palinis mu na din ang entire carb while at it. And sir rion where did you install the gauge where did you get the readings from?
