Problem when starting

Hi guys & gals (kung meron man)!

Im just a newbie car owner. I bought a 3rd hand toyota corolla 99 a week a go. Ok naman sya nung binili ko then one day papasok na ko office, ayaw mag start ng car ko. I need to pull the accelerator or gas sa makina then ok na. Kasi ayaw din pag inapakan ko lang ang gas eh. Pero pag pasok ko office then maghapon ko hindi ginamit pag uuwi na ko, start naman sya agad. Sa 1st start of the day lang talaga sya mahirap mag start, palagay ko pag cold engine pa. Hindi ko alam kung sa battery kasi hindi pa sya maintenance free (outlast) at yun pa raw yung battery simula pa nung una according sa seller. Hindi ko rin alam kung spark plugs or contact points.

Since na nabili ko ito last week, hindi ko pa napa tune-up/ change oil although sinabi naman ng seller na pina tune-up na nya.

What do you think? Need your help! Hindi ako makatulog dahil dito! Hu..hu..

Bro, dalhin mo na muna yan sa talyer or sa suki mong mekaniko if you have one. Maraming factors ang pwedeng cause ng hard starting, in your case ayaw mag-start. Ipa-check mo yung plugs mo, vacuum hoses, filters, etc. para makatulog ka na ng mahimbing ;)

check your battery bro, since sinabi mo na di pa napalitan. tama ka, pwede ring spark plugs and contact point. dalhin mo sa mekaniko, pa-check na rin ang starter.

sir baka spark plug/contact point yan...sa umaga lang naamn mahirap diba? check mo rin mga oil seals baka may tagas na. bawas din sa kuryente kapag may langis sa may spark plug kaya yaw magstart.

Ok mga sirs, thank you, dalin ko na sa mekaniko pero since 1st time ko lang wala pa ko kilala na magaling na mekaniko sa tabi-tabi kaya sa car savers muna ako kahit mahal, highly recommended kasi ng utol ko. Tsaka para makatulog na ng mahimbing. :sleep:

Hi guys! Just to update you, napa preventive maintenance ko na yung car including change oil, tune up. Chineck lahat pati carburador, starter, battery, pinalitan spark plugs, contact points, but ganun pa rin yung car ko, hirap mag start sa umaga. So i asked yung mekaniko kung normal ba yun, sabi nya normal daw yun sa model ko (corolla XE 1999), kelangan ko apakan gas pag mag start ako. My car is not yet electronic fuel.

So what do you think guys? Lipat ako ng mekaniko? Thanks in advance!

My corolla 96 xe did at one time had difficulty in starting in the morning. Here are the things I did overhaul the carburettor, there was also oil in my spark plug so I had the spark plug oil seals replaced, and voila the car starts like new one click ok na. BTW the mileage of the car now is only 58k km. whats the mileage of your corolla?

Sir 72K na po mileage ko. Nag general check up ok naman daw lahat... So its not normal na lagyan ko pa ng gas pag start? Ty.
