Kung alin mauna sa dalawa. However, may exception pa rin don. Yung sa akin by Km as instructed by my SA (note stamped on the last PMS receipt).

thanks for the responses. kasi yung mileage ko is pang 6 months pero 1 year old na yung sasakyan. if i follow the mileage, baka after a year pa yung susunod ko na PMS but i am due this month. kaya naguluhan ako. may nagsasabing sayang masyado pang maaga. btw, my mileage is 10k 1 year old pa lang.

Depends on whichever comes first, and typical usage. But if you're using synthetic, you don't really have to pay much attention to the "months" part.

Following the PMS schedule by months/Kilometers only makes sense if you're still under warranty. If you're out of it, just change based on kilometer readings regardless of the time interval... unless, upon inspection, the oil is starting to go bad.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

I'm on my last year of the vehicle warranty, and I have always based my maintenance schedule on kilometer readings.

In fact, I just availed of the 60,000kms. PMS yesterday.

sir bogeyman, the problem is ang average mileage ko in a year is 10k. for 3 years baka 30k pa lang ang km reading ko. alin ba mas wise? to follow the number of months since mababa lang mileage, average of 18km lang ang distance traveled per day or i follow the km reading which when computed 3 visits lang ako sa casa for an interval of 10k km. sorry po kung medyo madami akong tanong.

    Sino nagsabing masama ang magtanong?

I usually follow the kilometer readings kasi medyo high mileage ang sasakyan ko; imagine daily trips between Antipolo and Quezon City, with a one-time trip to Legaspi City, and occasional trips to Meycauayan and Tagaytay. Talagang nasusulit nang husto.

Since under warranty ka pa, at low mileage ka naman, tama, whichever comes first na lang.
