My vehicle (2004 Adventure M/T diesel) underwent its final PMS under warranty yesterday, and accordingly, the dealer has already recommended the replacement of several parts by the next service schedule (70,000kms):

    - front brake pads
    - timing belt
    - tensioner
    - oil seals

I'm aware that for the first two, OEM parts are recommended since they are vital components. For the other two however, will aftermarket parts suffice as replacement, or is it necessary for them to be OEM as well?

my take on this is :

front brake pads - there are better after market pads than mitsu oems (like Bendix)

    Timing Belt - OEM

    Tensioner - replacement

    oil seals - OEM

OEM oil seals are not that expensive. I'd prolly get them. Because if they fail, you'd have to take the t-belt apart again.

OEM tensioners also make good sense.

Bendix makes good pads. Or you can try entry level models of high grade pads like EBC.

may experience with mitsu parts is:
sa brake pads its better to use oem bcause rplacement parts ngssqueak even bendix sa ngayon kc pti rplacement parts my fake n rin,ngplit2 ako ng rplacement brand ng pads para mawala ung squeak and ending in refacing the rotor and use OEM pads (P2.3T).
OEM around P2T ata
