Im puzzled!!!Since the last time i changed oil, i noticed that my engine oil level is above the normal. At first, I thought i just overfilled my crankcase, so i drained the extra oil to make it to exact level. It was 1 and a half weeks ago today. when i checked this morning, the oil level is again higher than normal. Can you please enlighten me on this? Thanks in advance.

September 6th, 2005 11:40 AM #4what's your ride? engine?
Have you experinced overheating before? or major engine repair?
probable cause - fuel leakage from the fuel pump seals
- water leakage from the head gasket

havent experienced overheating;
and no major repairs done so far;
i guess fuel leakage is most likely the cause;
i think there's no water leakage, since the color of oil is normal, in such case, the oil color should have looked like milk.
BTW, how much is the cost of fuel pump nowadays?
thanks for the input sir.

I don't know the exact price but most likely around 2k - 4k sa brand new replacement parts.
wag mo na gamitin ung ride mo ksi it could cause a crankcase explosion due to gas vapor inside. Accessible naman ang fuel pump ng 5k,3 bolts lang ata ang tatangalin para mahugot yan.Kaya mo gawing mag isa then bring the sample.
Or bring your ride to a shop nalang to make it sure.
