hello to all tsikoteers
may problem po sasakyan ko pag off ko ng makina may tiktik sound cya sa ilalim ng makina.. pero after a few minute nawawala po cya ano po kaya yun? ano rin cause ng problema nun?

November 20th, 2007 12:54 AM #2ask ko lang, kaka undercoat mu lang ba? naexperience ko itong sound nung kakaundercoat ko lang tuwing nag shutdown nung engine nung CRV ko me sound din na parang tik tik sbi daw naiinitan yung coating near the engine. . .

after turning off? di ba normal lang to? lalo na kung kabubuhay mo palang ng engine inihataw mo na agad! just my observation.

alam ko normal lang din ito. meron din nito sa oto ko eh.
i assume its part of the engine cooling down.

it's normal....unless you have enemies who are drug lords, in which case you should check for time bombs
but seriously, usually that sound comes from the cooling down process of the engine and the joints/parts, as Vlady said.

normal lang po ito. nag-cocool down po kasi ang mga metal parts kaya nag-titiktik.

November 20th, 2007 11:21 PM #9it's not the injectors cooling down. normally it is either the brakes or the metal in the exhaust.

+1 kay sir speedy. .
Its the metal protector thingy na nakatakip sa exhaust manifold thats ticking. Observed it also when I park after a long drive.
I would lean more towards technological solutions instead of deputized traffic wardens, whenever...
SC (temporarily) stops NCAP
