for the engine wag paandarin muna hanggat di napapalitan ng engine oil, di napapatuyo ang ECU.

Sir ano sasakyan niyo and natanggal nyo ba yung battery before ma-submerged?

Umaabot na daw ng 15k yung costs dun palang Hindi pa nila nacheck yung makina at electric parts para ma-save nila It will depend on me if they shall proceed with fixing my car based on their findings.

For those who send e-mails to me regarding Neocars' number, sorry I forgot to mention it. anyway, you may call them at 7000728. you may compare their towing price as well. When i had my vios towed, there is a scarcity of tow trucks & the average rate was P 4T from Marikina to QC. I got it at P2.5T from them. I just dont know if they can still accomodate units since when i pulled out mine, they were filled with units. Hope this info helps.

CEL means CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. kahit kamo walang pagbabago sa makina, im sure may problem related sa engine yan kaya nga nakailaw ang CEL. Better dalin mo na sa CASA to pull the codes.
If you want to keep the car for a long time, pakatay mo na yung makina at tranny para matanggal mga namumuong kalawang, Tulad nga ng nasabi ko it will never be the same again lalot inabot ng tubig ang makina, Imagine parang sa sandpaper kumakayod mga pistons at other moving parts inside the engine due to rust. Fast wear and tear yan.

Ang dilemma ngyon is how can I make sure that the second hand car I'm trying to buy was not submerged in water? Are there specific car parts I have 2 check to find out if it was submerged?

    Please help. thanks!

    hello sirs,

also, is there such a repair "warranty" claim if may mga additional problems na lumabas after ng ilang araw?

    salamat po sa mga magrereply.

Sir, until the seat lang naman ung water diba? Don't worry too much about it. Ondoy victim vehicles had worse situation than yours but heck they still ran like brand new after repairs.
