Nanginginig ang manibela....

last weekend, my gf's brother-in-law helped me lower my car's idle speed to around 900 (in-between 4th line & 1K). now i noticed nanginginig manibela when i'm idle in traffic. i can also feel vibrations coming from the engine especially when the a/c compressor turns on. any ideas? tia! --'98 corolla xe

hehehe...iba na ata ito. Idling problem naman ito. Please check if your idler up vacuum/switch works. Now back to Nginig...

wheel balancing, nagyari na din kasi yung panginginig sa akin before i thought i was going too fast, then i asked a friend true enought wheel balancing nga kelangan, add tingga lang oks na, but better have teh car check by a credible service center

medyo OT ... today i went for balance & alignment sa shell magallanes. they told me my camber needs to be fixed. i went ahead with it since medyo pina sa left yung front wheel ko. they charged me P1900 for it with free alignment, but charged me P200 for balance 2 front tires.

then i noticed, parang ganun pa din at 80-90kph (or sobra lang pangit kalsada magallanes to south). ibalik ko bukas ng umaga to be sure. di na ako magbayad dito di ba?

any horror stories dyan sa shell magallanes? mukha naman sila mabait, pero ayoko mabiktima just because i am not that "car-savvy".

*nemo, hindi ba pinakita sayo nung mechanic ung computer kung ok na lahat? kasi nung nagpa align ako pinapakita sa akin ung computer. front and rear na ba ung 1900 sa camber? ung dito kasi sa amin 1500 ung rear ppa lang un.

i checked the print out, sabi nya ok na daw yun. Front lang po yung P1900, mahal ba? wala kasi ako kasama na medyo marunong if niloloko na ako eh. and i trust naman yung mga taga-shell magallanes, maayos sila in the past.

when i read through this thread, i got worried lang kasi parang may kabig pa din.

i will drive to magallanes tomorrow AM ulit. push ko na lang na wala na ako add'l payment. sana ...

ewan ko lang kung mahal... kasi sa amin 2 na ung natanungan ko, parehong 1500. tinanong mo ba kung may warranty? ung natanong ko kasi 3 months warranty daw...

mga sir, bago driver po ako and nakabili me ng honda civic 95. kaso, medyo upod na po yung inner-tires sa harap. may nagsabi sakin camber adjustment daw ito or di na aligned yung front tires kaya di balance yung kain ng mga gulong. please give me any service center para dito sa problem ko together with the contact and complete address. pakisamahan narin po ng directions kung paano pumunta doon. balak ko pong pumunta sa wednesday para di matao if ever. pandacan-manila area po ako. thanks in advance.
