Nag rerev mag isa

Mga sir,

Help naman po... ask ko lang po kung ano po kaya problem ng honda vti a/t 00 ko. Worried po kc ako coz first time lang nangyari ito, kc po nung instart ko yung car (not from cold start), ng rerev syang mg isa nya kahit di mo apakan yung accelerator. Umaabot po ng 3000 rpm... basta gumagalaw na lang pong kusa yung rpm taas baba, taas baba. Tapos po pinatay ko then instart ko ulit ganon parin... Tapos po pinatay ko ulit then binuksan ko yung hood, ginalaw galaw ng konti yung mga cable. Then nung restart ko, nawala na po. Ano po kaya ang reason or problem ng car ko. I want to know first your opinion bago ko dalhin sa Shop and before it gets worst.

i had the same problem with my vti 2000 before. took it to casa and they just have the throttle body cleaned plus tune-up. it was ok afterwards.

Exactly.. baka hindi lang tama ang fuel, air ratio.. palinis mo muna mga filters

nag try ka ba i-rev nung napansin mong erratic ang idling? baka nga the throttle bodly only needs cleaning and yung IACV nya.

most probably dirty throttle body yung culprit jan. ayaw mo non, para kang naka-cruise control!

yup, had the same problem before and it was fixed by cleaning the throttle body.

sounds like a dirty air flow sensor.

an 00 civic will not have an air flow sensor. it is manifold pressure based and hindi naman sya nadudumihan. you'll have to have the tb and iacv cleaned.

kung lumabas yung check engine light sa cluster and the code it throws is for the iacv then medyo madugo yan kasi you will have to have the box repaired also. this is a commong problem with 96-00 civics na matic.

Similar problem. Jumpy yung idling. After fast idle at bumaba na to 900rpm, makikita mo sa tach na tumatalon from 800-900 rpm. at madalas lately mag dive anfgrpm pag naka-on ang AC and either stopping the car to a halt or steering a low speed (5-10kph). Namamatay pa minsan, Ano kaya to mga bossing, madadaan ba sa carb/tb cleaning o kailangan patinging ko sa electrical? Which do you suggest i have checked first? btw, 95 lx civic (carb) yung oto.
