    yung suzuki swift ng utol ko ipapa-5000km check, first time.
    anu ba dapat ang recommended na oil para sa first maintenance check? synthetic agad? semi muna? o ordinary (mineral oil)?

    ang sabi daw maganda ang mineral oil sa bagong engine. medyo nagbasa na din ako internet about engine oils. bago magpost dito sa forums.

    pero mas maganda pa rin kung may inputs galing sa mga experts dito sa forums, hehe.

    yung free na oil change ng suzuki ang gamit nila yung ordinary, X4. Dapat ba mag-ordinary na lang yung utol ko? kasi yun daw ang free nila. Yung valvoline semi-synthetic at valvoline synthetic 401 php at 701 php ang cost sa casa, respectively. hindi ko rin alam kung magkano mga to sa labas

    I hope it's not too late,yes use mineral oil first when braking in the engine.

    In my opinion it really doesnt matter if its mineral, semi or fully synth, what matters is how often you change your oil and the oil filter. If you are often driving at high speed synthetic may be better.

    From what I've read, synthetic is better for new engines. Mineral oil for older engines, kasi mas manipis ang synthetic and mas may tendency magleak in older engines

    If you have the budget go for Mobil1 or Motul Fully Synthetics.
