I haven't bought any from ATCO or SP, but a lot of my friends who owns mitsu cars say that ATCO is cheaper compared to EL-Dorado. SP I think is also cheaper compared to EL-Dorado. Is the difference in price that big, I don't know.

I buy my "important" parts sa El-Dorado dahil walking distance lang sa bahay namin. :D

Motorix & Bestcolt both sell original Mitsu products as well as replacement parts made by manufacturers such as 555. Please bear in ming that some Orig mitsu parts such as timing belts and oil filters are no longer made in japan.

Eldo is the most expensive store mentioned. ATCO is indeed cheap in terms of price, kaya lang theyre a bit far from my place.

Sa Mit-Parts din along Banawe, they won't fool you. Kailangan lang, you know how to haggle for a lower price. Ako ang ginagawa ko, i ask for both the orig mitsu and replacement para ma-compare ko difference sa quality. mas mura sya kesa sa best colt.

speaking about 'fake' parts sold at auto supplies, actually they can recategorized the parts with -----taiwan/china, korea, or japan original, although exactly same looks yung mga parts made in the 3 different countries and all bear the label "Made in Japan".

Kaya when I buy parts for my car, specified ko talaga ng original japan made and kukunin ko. Pero take note na meron din mga japan made parts though hindi oem parts.

i buy parts both from bestcolt and el dorado.
they both sell original and replacement parts.
kapag medyo kinakapos ka na, they would recommend
replacement parts na maganda rin ang quality such as
KYB shocks, 555, etc.
minsan duon na rin ako sa bestcolt nagpapakabit ng
pyesa, marunong sila sa mitsu talaga.

to describe fake:

when an item is made by another company other than the OEM and uses the car company's name or OEM brand to its packaging. i.e. parts manufacture by 'peke company' and packages it as 'toyota'

it doesn;t even matter if it is sold at a very low price. that's not the point.

the point here is the trustworthiness of the shop. if it's fake, they should say fake. if it's oem then they should say oem. if replacement then they should say replacement. no beating around the bush and just straight to the point!

at our shop, we sell all original denso parts and other brands. but to your surprise i tell you, not all of them are made in japan! remember, as stated by julian, parts can be made in different countries.

as an example, denso spark plugs are made by 2 countries, japan and indonesia. when my customers ask me where it is made, i tell them where it is really made but i always say that it is made by denso corporation of japan.

when buying from a shop, trustworthiness is the most important factor. this includes services shops especially.

simply put, fake is fake when the seller LIES.

I get my parts from Motorix, kasi kilala ko na ang mga taga roon, and they won't pull a fast one one me. :D Never had a problem yet. They sell both replacement OEM and original parts.

Bestcolt is not far from e.rod side ... when you reach banawe via e.rod its on your left 2 kanto ... best colt is mitsu parts all the way ... but if your willing to find cheap and reliable parts ... try going share motor parts 7120008, they also install and repair underchasis and can find you affordable orig parts

SP is also loacted near e.rod ... when you reach banawe via e.rod first kanto then turn right ... kitanlad street

There is also a cheap orig mitsu parts new alpha auto supply don't know the number but is also located in front or best colt hilera ng motorix phil which aslo sell mitsu parts

Motorix hindi okay na shop. Kanina lang nung morning magpapainstall ako ng bagong radiator sa kanila, tinanong ko kung evercool ung radiator nila (although nagddoubt nko ksi parang ampanget ng quality or the looks ng radiator na ikakabit) at sabi nila oo evercool daw siya. Nung nilagay na sa car hindi siya fit, angat ang hood hindi maisara ng maayos, hindi fit ang radiator cap. tinanong ko ulit, evercool ba talaga yung raadiator, at sinabi nilang evercool daw nga yun. Since hindi ako satisfied and in doubt, pinabalik ko na lang sa lumang radiator ko, at nung sinoli na nila ung radiator na "evercool" daw sa kanilang stock room nila at inilabas ung box ng radiator nakita ko PEERS ang brand at hindi evercool. So in short they are not in a fair trade.

Both of them are into mitsubishi only parts auto suppy, but i prefer bestcolt, they are very knowledgeable with mitsubishi parts, they stock both replacement and original parts. Look for Ben
