    thanks guys, i'll just use motor oil 15w40 for the tranny and tcase.

    any idea if 6 liters of motor oil is enough for both tranny and t-case?

    Accdg to manual;
    M/T; Transmission MUA model=2.95 liters; AR-5=2.7 liters; Transfer Case=1.45 liters
    So i think 5 liters is more than enough.

    You can never go wrong with 10-30W oil for your engine, but 45W for your manual tranny, I think thats a little bit too thin for that. Most tranny that I work on usually takes between 75W - 90W Gear Oil. And on the transfer case, its the same with tranny except if you have LSD, then you have to be more specific like JL-4 or JL-5.

    yeah, for cars like those use slightly thicker gear oil.

Motor Oil or Gear Oil
