Hi everyone! I'm scheduled for an oil change this month and I'm currently looking for an oil for my vehicle - 98 Volvo V40 - 53K km. I asked Viking what type of oil they are using on their vehicles, they said Mobil or Canoco 5W50. I went to ACE hardware yesterday to checkout Mobil. While checking it out, I also saw Castrol 10W50.
Between the two oils, what type of oil is perfect for my vehicle (considering the age, KM and climate in the Phil.)?
Thanks in advance!

I'll go with the "widest" difference between the two numbers.
In that case, 5W50. Though if the price difference between that two is big, 10W50 is still ok for our climate.

Shell Helix Ultra I think sells at 540+ per liter and is being recommended by Ferrari so I would take a look at this as well. Is it any good?

Be careful with channels like "China Observer" on YouTube. There is a clear bias in their posts and...
