    gentlemen, ladies...

In few days im finally buying a 4g92 mivec para sa '95 itlog ko...ask ko lang sa inyo kung kasya transmission ng 1300 engine ko sa 4g92. The price quoted kasi 'di pa kasama transmission..but buo electrical sys nya. Read somewhere na maganda pull ng 1300 transmission..besides baka makatipid ako ng few bucks.

Thanks in advance guys. BTW, is 15k labor sa engine installation too much?

As far as I know hindi pwede yang transmission ng EL mo sa 4G92 Mivec.

If I remember correctly, the 4G9x series engines has 7 bolt holes at the flywheel, while the EL (4G13) has 6 only which is compatible sa 4G6x series engines.

Yan ang ang naaalala ko. someone korek if I'm wrong

I don't have first hand experience, but when I was asking around for 4G92 Mivecs at Parts & Shop in Evangelista, the guy DID say that the tranny of my 4g13 '95 EL would fit.

Btw, magkano kuha mo sa engine?

i doubt it will fit. 15T for the install is ok pero dapat kasama na rewiring dun. won't you need to change a lot of parts since you are comming from a carb engine?

thanks guys...checked it myself, mukha ngang di kasya...
sa 15k na installation completena nga daw yon including the electrical sys. At on day lang gagawin, kaya naman daw nila eh. got the engine for 30k...

btw, speedyfix, i'll call your shop one of these days for an estimate for the same...sa gilid gilid lang kasi napagtanungan ko ng 15k eh. bet your boys can do better work than them.

best bet would be to have it installed where you bought the engine. at least walang turo turo as to who is to blame if something goes wrong with the engine/car afterwards
