Mitsubishi lancer cedia headlights and Tail light

Is it just my car? Kasi everytime na umuulan nababasa or nagmmoist ung sa loob ng headlights at tail lights na nagccause ng hindi pag ilaw ng mga lights properly like isa lang ung umiilaw. Pag brinight mo nagiging "bulding" ung sasakyan. Pag nagpreno ka isang side lang umiilaw. Kakapalit lang naman ng bulbs. Inoobserve ko lahat ng naka cedia meron talagag moist karamihan. Inputs nyo po? Thanks!

kaya nag kakaroon ng moist ,may water leak papasok sa loob maaaring hindi na maganda ang pagkaka seal ng Hl mo TL mo.pa reseal mo nalang or bumili ka ng sealicon sealant saka mo lagyan ung palagid na maaring pasukin ng tubig.

yes, have them re-sealed. and while you are it, maybe you should consider re-polishing the headlight clear plastic, inside and out, while they are still open.

yespo. tanggal bumper to remove headlight. i couldn't believe it at first, until an aficionado showed me. but it wasn't that difficult at all, if one knew how. marami lang turnilyo.
i hated that lancer because of that.

may mga ads sa olx on headlight works. never tried it, 'though.

the opacity will partially block and diffuse the light beaming out of the headlights. the ability of the headlights to light the way for you, will diminish.
if you open it to clean but did not seal it afterward, water will seep in, resulting in:
1. fogging and diminished lighting ability;
2. corrode the brightwork of the reflector, resulting in poor lighting ability;
3. corrode the metal bulb contacts;
4. may cause premature bulb filament failure.

it is tempting to just leave them as is. but you will enjoy the night-and-day difference, once you get them headlights cleaned spic and span, or have them replaced.

Mura na kaya ang palinis at reseal nun at 500 labor then pabuff 400 each.
Most likely unahin ko ung sa harap kasi mas grabe. 1.2k? Oks na ba yun?

Bukas kasi nakasched ako magpaclean and reseal ng headlights boss. May other concern rin ako. Since tatanggalin ang bumper pwede pba to maiscrew? Medyo loose kasi siya. Naka screw nalang ung both sa gilid pero ung iba di nka srcew floating lang.

regarding the slight mis-alignment of the bumper. i can not predict how it can be fixed, because the pictures were in-sufficient. but i strongly urge you to run away from non-regulation fixes. you know, yung mga lalapit na magpiprisintang aayusin siya sa pamamagitan ng mahiwagang screws niya. i tried them before. "they don't work very well under ordinary use." as much as possible, use factory spec. ngayon, kung may taingang naputol, ay... tough luck! you can ask around for a professional who can install mounting tabs from the inside... it's cheaper than replacing the bumper.
lights. check the bulbs for filament breaks, using an ohmmeter and not just one's eyes. also, check, clean, or replace the bulb sockets. they may have already corroded beyond repair because of water seepage.
when i had my headlights replaced (found a seller in olx; RHD models siya, so i stuck some opaque tape on 'em afterward, to reduce glare), the entire procedure took an hour or so. ok lang sakin naman, dahil nasa burger king ako all that time.

hindi normal.
mine have always been dry, even during and after a strong downpour.

dalawa lang naman ang pinanggagalingan ng moisture.
1. may crack ang housing;
2. hindi lapat ang sockets sa likuran.

umiinit kasi ang loob ng taillight and headlight housing, kapag ginagamit.
pagpatay ng ilaw, ay lumalamig yan, at hinihigop ang anumang tubig o moisture sa paligid niya.

the cycle repeats everytime you use them lights.
after some time, there will be enough moisture inside the housing for you to see.
tingnan nyo kung may butas sa likuran ng housing, na puedeng daanan ng tubig.

hinala ko rin, ay kapag basang basa ang rear trunk, ay napaka-moist ng hangin sa loob, at iyon ang hinihigop ng lumalamig na tail light.

yung sakin, may tatlong sockets para sa tatlong bulbs.

So i came with my working diagnosis hehe
Hindi nakalapat ung tail lights sa edge. Ewan ko baka kasi wala na ung rubber nya so di siya fit na fit. Kaya pag umuulan nappunta dian tubig and nagmmoist at mabilis palitan ung mga bulb. Anyway. Kung tama ako, ano pwede remedyo para matakpakan ar hindi pasukan ng tubig? Thanks tsikot!
