Michelin MXV8 vs XM1

G'day everyone, just wondering if anyone can share their experiences with the Michelin MXV8 and/or XM1 tyres... any major differences to justify the higher price tag of the MXV8?

Am trying to decide for either 195/60R15 or 185/65R15 among those 2 types. Car is a 2002 Civic VTI-S. Thank you.

XM1's are okay, but the braking distance isn't something I like. If you can afford the more expensive MXV8s, they'll give you better braking and handling.

Thanks. Decided to get the MXV8 as you suggested, figured that the extra cost over the 2-3 year lifetime of the car is worth it for the better handling and braking -- like the feel of the drive now

how much for the set of four?

Just check them every month or so for wear... and remember to keep them properly inflated and to rotate them regularly. Congrats.

Came out to be approx PHP 16k for the MXV8 195/60/R15. Note that this is credit card price which was slightly higher than their cash price. But I figured okay na din so that I can get the MXV8 -- sarap ng feel , the old tires were the Michelin Vivacy 185/65/R15.
