Matigas na gas pedal

Minsan matigas ung gas pedal, kahit na nilagyan na ng WD40 ung cable niya. Ano po kaya problema o remedyo? TIA.

Check your spring usually may spring yan. Or baka yung pedal mismo may bushing sa likod that needs to be lubricated. WD40 on the cable won't do much kung yung cable is exposed din lang (usually rubber sheath lang din yon kaya not much lubrication).

Also, WD40 attracts dirt. You will need to clean it again later on.

check mo din sir. pero if the problem persists, you might be needing a cleaning of the carbs or if fuel injected then throttle body assembly.

Grease pwede instead of WD40?

Pwede, pero yung light weight lang like white lithium grease or powdered graphite (dry lubricant)

WD40 is a water dispersant it is not a lubricant. You can use grease (if you have some at home). Light grease would be ideal but heavier ones work also.

Kung matigas yung spring, baka yun talaga ang setting niya.
