    Old shocks will do but expect them to wear out faster. Maybe Zee can help you on this if you don't have the budget for aftermarket ones.

    As for the springs, the ones from Japan are usually harder than the Europeans. Eibachs offer a nice ride while providing just the right height. If I'm not mistaken, Wally West in West Ave. carries them. Espelir and RS-R are also reputable brands.
