How about for hoses like PS and cooling systems? Medyo sensitive yung PS hoses (the diameter and length have to be similar to OEM spec).

forgot to mention. pang power steering . yung high-pressure.

pang fittings walang problema. dami nilang choices. concerned ako sa quality ng pagcrimp nila ng hoses. no choice din ako eh. OEM korean-made hydraulic hoses (its on my carnival ngapala) tend to leak over time

I always use custom made hydraulic hoses in all our vehicles when it comes time to replace the hoses.

    OEM is too damn expensive.

Plus, with custom hoses, you can choose what hose type to put in. I always use high pressure hoses with metal reinforcement. Same one used in heavy equipments for construction and industrial use.

On the last hose I had made, Mang Mario used Bridgestone (yep, the tire guys) hose then just had the hydraulic shop press the end fittings.

    Ayos!

The ugong may be because of a difference in the inner diameter or even the length of the hose from OEM spec probably.

Where do you guys go to BTW? I havent tried any of those shops yet.

had my hi-ace's power steering hose changed last year due to leaks... 10 years old na kasi yung oto... asked my kumpare(who own's an auto supply) how much yung orig hose... ang sagot ba naman eh..."pre di pang benta yung presyo ... pa press na lang natin... may U.S. hose dito na reinforced with metal". ayun total cost 2500, including labor ng pagtanggal at kabit ng steering hose, labor sa pa press ng hose, steering fluid, at yung US hose mga 1.5 meters ginamit sa hi-ace. :jump2: still works with no problem... parang alang nangyari
