January 20th, 2006 07:30 PM #2IFS Lift kit ang kailangan mo. Madami dito sa Thailand. Ang popular brands ay Sun Suspension, Unicorn, and Ultimate lift kits. All are Thai made. Minimum gain is 4 inches. Medyo may kamahalan nga lang - usually over 30,000 baht. Wala pang kasamang shocks yan.
Lower gears - di ba 5.29 na ang diff ratio ng '97 L200? Kaya na dalin ng 5.29 ang 33's. Lockers you can source from RATS in Manila - ARB Air Locker.

January 20th, 2006 10:41 PM #3may locally available kits kaya? Kahit na front lang sana, at pwede kong i spring over axle yung rear, with traction bars na lang.96 model na 97 acquired, at according to the previous owner e either 4.11 or 4.88 ang ratio. di ko pa nabuksan.

Naka-Pajero 4d56 ako on 33's. Malamang nasa 4.88 iyan. Konting pasensya na lang habang nasa akyatan. Mahal ang re-gear. Php 50k per axle iyan kung brand new.
Yung front ko na-lift ko by cranking the torsion bars. But the alignment will be a bit off if you do this. Works well enough for me.
Try mo magtanong sa www.outerlimits4x4.com about regearing. Madaming tao sa Mitsu section dun.

January 22nd, 2006 08:36 PM #6Ang Ride Inc yata ay authorized dealer ng Sun Suspension (IFS Lift Kit). Check it out.
Maganda ang design ng Sun IFS Lift Kit - it neatly tucks the Torsion Bars under the rails. Yung iba kasi leaves the Torsion Bars somewhat hanging down.

If you just need clearance for bigger tires, ok na ang body lift. 2.5"-3" ok na yan

January 25th, 2006 10:56 AM #10I u upgrade ko kasi yung project naming bj74 sa 38.5 boggers, at yung dating nyang 35s sana ang ikakabit ko sa L200. Kung di kaya yung sun e pagtyagahan na lang yung 33s, mas mura pa come changing time.
