Knocking sound

Mga sirs, help naman ng konti. My car is Nissan Sentra GX A/T, lately may knocking sound coming from the back. Di naman sa ilalim nanggagaling (i think but I could be wrong). Tuwing arangkada and lubak madalas ang knocking sound. Not so loud but it is annoying. Ano kaya possible source ng sound? Thanks in advance.

Could be one of the rubber bushings or even your shocks that have worn out from normal use.

Only one way to solve it is to bring your car to a service shop and have a competent mechanic check it out.

Forgot to tell that it is barely 3 months pa lang (new car). Just done the 5k PMS and wala naman sila nakita kung saan nanggagaling ang knocking sound. Ano pa kaya mga possible causes?

It's new pala. Just bring it back to the casa where you had it serviced and let them check it. You sure it's not anything left in the sparetire well or trunk like a lugnut?

Wala sir. triple checked it na. Pinacheck ko na sa casa pero wala sila nakita. they said mga nuts and bolts lang and hinigpitan nila pero a day meron na naman. Anyways, pa-check ko ulit. Thanks boss.

Update: Went to Nissan N. Edsa and had it checked the knocking sound. It is not mechanical but something coming from the door panel or back sit. Need pa nila baklasin lahat para malaman kung saan talaga nanggagaling .

localize the area of the noise whether is door 3 or door 4. somebody might be missing a tool after assembly of your car or somebody might have given you a spare part of something between the skin and the interior panel of the door

I doubt nga kung talagang non-mechanical nature ng knocking sound. Di kaya wheel bearing? Madali lang ba palitan and makita kung wheel bearing nga ang may prob? Ganun ba kabilis masira ang wheel bearing? Help naman mga sirs. Nearly 3 mos pa lang ang kotse. TIA.

Kung wheel bearing maingay kahit wala sa lubak, kahit breaking lang. Kung Bnew car at na-check na pang-ilalim mo, sa loob na nga ng car yan. Dapat may mechanic na sumakay sa likod habang dinadaan sa lubag para macheck ng husto, Makikita din yan dahil sa tiyaga bro.

Yes bro may sumakay na mechanic nung pina check ko sa nissan n edsa, hindi nga daw mechanical. Sa loob nga daw ng kotse, possibly sa mga door panels or likod ng seats. kaya lang need daw baklasin lahat and it will take 2-3 days para makita kung saan nanggagaling ang knocking.

if this car is the only one behaving this way, it is not surprising if this car was assembled in country. you have to remember: these cars' body panels, superstructure and skin were spot welded by human hands. the person assembling the panels might have sneezed, got lazy, overlooked, forgot or maybe was distraught or drunk at the time of assembly. this might be a case of monday morning or friday afternoon assembled car and missed a couple of spot welds on the car's body

Update:

Finally, they have diagnosed and remedied the problem (knocking sound). Sa unahan pala nanggagaling ang "tok" sound hindi sa likod. The culprit was a loose caliper pin. Nilagyan lang ng grasa and hopefully di na bumalik ang "tok" sound. My worry is, what if matanggal ang grasa sa katagalan and for sure babalik ulit ang knocking sound.

ser san ba area mo... para makasakay ka din sa sentra ko. pareho kasi tayo publema. sa harap naman ako. duda ko nga baka inside the hood. kakabanas yung tunog. parang me nakasabit na holen na tuwing aandar kakatok... anyways please post updates kung magawa baka pareho tayo ng kaso
