ako naman, 1.5 lx civic 10-12 km per liter...shifting sched ko sa work kaya medyo iwas ako sa rush hour...average of 8km/liter pag traffic. depende talaga yan sa driving mo. never step on the gas pag nakita mo red light na, alalay lang sayang ang gas mo.

I can get 10 to 11 km / liter on a 93 corolla, 1.6 gli. But this is due to non-agressive driving, and not being on the roads during rush hour, clean air filters and plugs, etc. I tried rush hour once and got 8 to 9 km/liter.

Although it is a costly experiment, I bought a khaos fuel saver device two years ago and measure my gasoline consumption, and alas! from 12 km to 14-16km per liter saving, plus of course my driving should be in a cruising speed only you can try this. My experiment involved my bipassing the fuel hose to a 1 liter gas container. Happy gas saving!

7.35km/L, 2.0L manual. use the aircon a lot.

i got as high as 12km/L to and from baguio, with 6 people in the car. pero i drive non-aggressively (never go above 2500rpm).

VW Golf GTI. 54km/L diesel pa.

Pero yung 100km/L car (gawa din ng VW, driven by Ferdinand Piech on the last day that he was VW CEO) hindi practical yun. sobrang narrow, only 2 people can ride in it. parang tandem bicycle pa.

incidentally after leaving VW, Piech went back to Porsche (he's the grandson of Baron Ferdinand von Porsche) tapos two weeks ago Porsche bought controlling interest in VW. hehehe..

Swerte sa amerika and other rich countries, simple logic n lang eh.. kung minimum earner ka sa pinas (325 a day) ud have to work for 1.25 hours to buy 1 liter gasoline...Sa amerika ang minimum earner dun (8 $/hour or basically 64$/day)..they would have to work for just more than 25 minutes to buy 1 gallon of gasoline (3.875 liter)...Imagine the difference?? My god lugi talaga ang purchasing power ng pinoys!!!

Yun ang maganda pag bago ang car matipid sa gaso, pero sooner or later the playing field will all be the same.

Ung prestige kaya (bnew - 184k), nakita ko sa glorietta the toher day? ilang km/liter kaya??

    that's a daihatsu mira. 660cc din yun.

ang narinig ko hindi gaanong matipid yung super carry and yung norkis legacy, kasi laging naka-floor yung gas pedal mo dahil sobrang bitin sa power.

Not that much, but it's not as good as newer engines. Say maybe up to 9-10 km/l in traffic, but not much more on the highway (low geared). Modern 1.3s will consume less.

Don't really like the Legacy because of the lack of cargo space.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

IMO pang city driving lang yan, would you compromise your safety in such a small vehicle without safety options like an airbag?

ask ko na rin. alin mas matipid? 1300 na carb o 1600 na efi?
