December 18th, 2006 12:15 PM #1Guys, can someone tell me how to know if the Mobil1 oil you bought is a fake or not. Im was supposed to buy from Toyota alabang for P580/L para sure na orig but someone told me na sa Ace hardware, may promo yung Mobil1.
Do you think Ace Hardware sells the original Mobil1? Or baka fake eto?
Sorry if i cant research on this too much kasi i have to buy today already and i really dont have that much time as i need to do some work...
Thanks!

I don't think that Ace (or any big company) will sell fake products just to earn a few more thousand bucks.

If it's too cheap, it's probably fake.
Like what M2 says, I don't think a large firm like SM's ACE or Handyman etc will bother scamming people for a few hundred bucks on something that they don't sell a lot of anyway... Hehe, mas madami pang bibili ng toilet seat kesa sa langis sa hardware store.

December 20th, 2006 07:48 AM #9Any indications as to what color the original Mobil1 is supposed to be?
I read somewhere na sa packaging daw may kaibahan daw kapag fake eh.
