i believe sa electronic lang yang problema mo. ive experience that in my honda city 2006 1.5 VTEC. malakas pagka depress ko sa gas ko then nag skid ang front wheels. umabot ata ng 60kph ang tire spin. then bigla kong nilet go ang gas,. guess what, pag apak ko ulit umaabot ng 4k rpm pero the car is barely moving. nataranta ako kasi akala ko nasira na!!!!!
ginawa ko pinatay ko engine then restart. ayun ok na. 1 year 6 months na tong CVT ko so far ok pa naman hanggang ngayon. kaso pansin ko kapag mainit na mainit ang panahon, feeling ko nag sli slip ang belt. kasi pag apak ko from a stop light umaabot pa ng 2k rpm bago mag move ang car. para bang naka clutch ka.

i've found a site where there's instructions on restting the CVT. basically go through all the gear lever positions for a couple of seconds. forgot where na but im sure you can google it.
I'm not sure if those cretins at honda tried resetting anything electronic. i suggested this via the owner and the service advisor was dead set that the problem is mechanical. sabi sa friend ko 'useless mag reset ng cvt kasi may sira yung transmission'. galing naman nun, na deduce nila without even bringing the tranny down. ewan ko lang, i may be too old school, but any good mechanic should try everything before recommending the replacement of a whole component assembly.
so far, the car is still in honda doing god knows what. by the way, my friend's using a pearl white updated jazz... very nice. c/o her dad, not honda hehe.

Take it out and bring it to another casa. There's another thread in here (regarding "3-year old ECU needs replacement?") where they suggest a mechanic at another branch.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Update: honda has agreed to fix the car for 50k! Now they say that they have parts to replace and have spares to replace them with?! Gulo. Im asking my friend to get a list of the parts for replacement and have honda surrender the actual replaced parts. This all sounds fishy to me.
*speedyfix, sige sir will do.
