Which is wrong. It won't damage naman the transmission but it can affect shift performance

I saw one at True Value in ATC.... the label specifically states Honda CVT (transmission) fluid...... I haven't used what I bought though for our Jazz yet...

    symptoms daw eh

    1. when you release the throttle, you can feel its engine brake.
    2. jerky feeling when climbing uphill
    3. kapag mainit ang panahon mas mafefeel mo yung engine braking.

ive been experiencing it now. kapag irelease ko ang throttle feel na feel ko ang engine braking niya. para akong nag brake kaunti. then nafefeel ko rin ang release ng clutch niya kapag <20 kph takbo ko. in short, jerky talaga.

Bros.,- it could be that Honda originally put regular ATF earlier when the cars with CVT (transmission) were initially released. This could be the reason why they recalled all those cars with CVT (transmission) some months ago, telling customers that they needed to change the transmission fluid and reprogram the ECU..... I got mine serviced for this.

I suggest that you stick to what the manufacturer states in the manual. Medyo madugo o madugo pag nasira ang CVT ng Honda or any car for that matter.

so iba talaga dapat cvt fluid than regular atf....sabi ko na nga ba noon, but SA's and mechanics there at casas insist na ATF lang din daw ginagamit...

If they insist on using ATF, rub the owner's manual in their faces. It will specifically DEMAND you use CVT Fluid. By dint of that fact alone, dealers should be carrying bottles of the stuff.

And mine now is 18.5k na.

Before you do that dip half of the manual in the ATF, the other in CVTF. Rub, then ask them, anu ba feel mo?
