November 30th, 2006 04:51 PM #1Hi! My honda civic 2001. aircon blower died. dinala ko sa aircon repair shop ang sabi ay blower motor resistor pack are sira.
Isolation procedure.
1) 12V present in blower motor connector.
2) remove blower and connect to 12v, motor running ok.
We opened the resistor pack. hindi na yun traditional na resistor pack. me cicruito sa loob. niresearch ko ang parts, meron siyang MOSFET (transistor) as main part. (part no. 2sk2313).
meron pa kayang ibang cause aside from the blower motor resistor pack.
medyo mahal ang piyesa sa honda. totally dead ang blower ko.
Would anyone know if there is a shop who is selling this part at a cheaper price than casa.
meron bang nagrerepair nito ?
The blower motor resistor is enclosed sa plastic casing (denso part no embossed on the casing). if you don't open it, you wont see the parts inside. from the outside , it has a big heatsink, which i think because of the high current and heat generated on the mosfet transistor.
Any comments and suggestions.
Thanks.

P.S. i would have experimented with replacing the transistor kaso wala akong mabili sa raon..................any suggestions..........

How much is the resistor pack?
Of course, if you could afford an OEM resistor pack, kahit surplus, mas ok.

Resistor pack ba tawag dun or resistor block?
I saw a thread sa Club7thGen (civic) about a defective resistor block, pinaayos nya lang sa electronics repair shop (yung gumagawa ng mga TV, etc.), kasi resistor lang ang may sira. Total cost was only 70petot...

November 30th, 2006 07:54 PM #72SK2313 is 60V, 60A mosfet from toshiba
Alexan sells a 60V, 50A mosfet (MTP50N06E from motorola) and it might just work as a substitute. MTP50N06E is pin-to-pin compatible with 2SK2313.

December 1st, 2006 06:14 AM #8malamang hindi "resistor pack" yun...its more like a voltage regulator type na IC controlled. Mas stable ang current kasi nito kaysa resistor...mas safe sa motor and hindi prone sa sunog...yung coil resistor kasi pedeng mag-baga at makasunog.
3M Color Stable series are all above 50% TSER. RFID readable through the tint, stays good for...
