The real good ones na HVLP are around P2K-5K. Ung gravity fed meron as low as 900 lang. Look for kimpoy meron siya nito sa store niya.

kimpoy post often sa Trucks, SUV forum.

One thing you should look for is how the lid of the sprayer ay isinasara sa body (paint reservoir). AVOID the screw on type kasi if pressure build up (even HVLP can have a pressure build up)...nagbuburst open ang lid....sira na agad. Try those that have some sort of "hook-up" lock....

hard to explain without the pics (but I don't have time to search my painting guides....sorry too busy).....but look around first muna and dont rush yourself in buying....makakakita ka rin ng iba't ibang type.

Think of this scenario....you might be painting different colors agad so it would be nice if the paint reservoir could easily be replaced... it should also be easy to clean up (eto kasi ang pinakamatrabaho na part) for your convinience....it should also have lots of implements (nozzle change, adjustment of pressure etc.)

The pro level HVLP's are at about 16k or so without the compressor.
Ang importante sa HVLP is the source of air.
If you use a compressor, make sure to get a very good filter drier.
Use 2 or 3 in series if neccessary.
OK gumamit ng HVLP, minimal overspray & very good yield sa paint used.

    ...hope this helps..
