high rpm, delayed/slow acceleration

Greetings fellow tsikoteers. Parang merong thread for this but i can't find it so gumawa nalang ako ng separate.
Meron akong inquiry about acceleration. paminsan-minsan lang naman mangyari but im bothered bec pag-shift ko ng 2nd/third gear, mataas na rpm(2.5) pero mabagal or matagal ang arangkada. minsan sa stop light at ako ang nasa harapan, when the light turns green aabante nako and pag-shift 2nd gear naririnig ko na malakas tunog ng engine, high rpm na and ang tagal ng response. Some say it maybe the clutch lining. I dont know. Pls help. saan din ang shop na mahusay gumawa nito. sa mandaluyong or makati area sana. My car is ae92 1.6. TIA!

para isang gawaan na lang

have your mechanic test drive it. he should be able to tell you what's happening.

Thanks for the replies... yep, i suppose its a sliding clutch, pero minsan lang mangyari but im still bothered. I better have it checked. siguro complete clutch assembly na palitan ko para lahat bago. what do you think? or maybe clutch lining lang. magkano kaya aabutin? Wala din akong alam na magaling gumawa nito, can you suggest some shops? Thanks again.

that is a sure indication of a sliding clutch. clutch disc, pressure plate, release bearing, and crankshaft oil seal should be replaced. Flywheel should be refaced. have it fixed asap with your favorite shop. mahirap tumirik sa kalsada.

musta sir? sayo ako umorder ng bendix break pads last year. kaw pa nag-deliver sa office ko sa makati. dont know if you still remember. was trying to text you again to ask for some car parts. anyway, pm mo nalang ako. tanong ko na din kung magkano complete set nun and what brand ang ok. Thanks.

on a slightly different note, what if kung maingay ang release bearing mo ? does it have any effect sa clutch mo ? what would happen kung di mapalitan kaagad ang bearing na ito ?

it will just get noisier over time and pedal feel has a tendency to get harder

crankshaft oil seal 400
labor 1,600

total 5,510

sir, what do you mean both sides? diba isang set lang ito... sa shell maya ako nagpa-service. A bit expensive for a 1,600 labor pero yun lang convenient place para sakin. I considered speedyfix pero malayo sa area ko.

nagpunta muna ako sa aking suking auto shop para bumili ng mga parts needed. Replacement ang binili ko but asco brand naman so good quality na din. sa pinagpagawaan ko meron din silang replacement spare parts pero a lot expensive so i suggest ikaw nalang ang bumili. 4 hours din nila ginawa.
