help me...

I bought six months ago a 96 Honda Accord. Just the other day when i was driving and was about to shift to the 3rd gear, the car suddenly stopped and when i restarted it, it just couldn't. I called a local mechanioc and he 'guessed" there was something wrong about the fuel pump. I need help cuz I'm not sure what really might be the problem. I didn't seek a professional mechanic yet becuase i had other concers. I was hoping that maybe you can help me figure out the problem with this minimal information i shared.

wala bang other symptoms like gradual loss of power, etc?
my suspect is baka yung ECU....

Panong ayaw mag start? Does the starter even turn? Do you just hear a click?

Need more details.

I'd go with bringing it to a trusted mechanic at this point.
