Laging overcharged ang quote ng insurance since you will only be paying a percentage of it.

Thanks a lot!
Ganun pala yun...dapat siguro pa estimate ko na rin sa ibang repair shop para me pag compare-an ako..kung mga within the range of 10k din lang at ang maging participation ko e nasa 8-9K, parang walang silbi ang insurance ko....ano ba ang average participation rate? any idea guys?

5% ata. Not sure lang.
May silbi din naman ang insurance. Kung sakaling may mabangga ka or other similar incidents na hindi naman covered ng TPL.

Participation depends on the insurance company. AFAIK, it's either a flat rate between 4 - 8k or a percentage participation rate. I think they go more for participation for older cars.
Most insurance companies insist on "casa" service and parts replacement instead of "pokpok", that's why the cost is so high. Of course, you have to be sure that you aren't paying participation for parts replacement when all you'll be getting is surplus and hammer work.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
