anong brand and ilang liters ba nag kailangan ng vios 1.3l?

If that's the case, regular mineral oil will do quite fine (3-4L?). You can opt to use CASA oil or bring in your own.

If you want added "protection", then you can also look at semi-synth oils from Shell or Castrol (mga P200+/L, half the price of full-synths).

go for the best oil you can afford. also check the viscosity vs what is recommended by the manufacturer.

bring your own? or buy it from them? hehehe.. usually pag ganyan, pagpipilitan nilang sa kanila ka bumili. kasi kikita sila dun e.
or else sasabihin nilang baka fake un, in my case, ganun ang sinabe saken.

Based on my experiences dati, i always take the advise of the Service Advisors with a grain of salt.

thanks for all of your responses

it turned out na medyo mas mahal pa un nagastos ko nung nagdala ko ng sariling oil, di rin naman pala kasi gaanong mataas un toyota motor oils. since i'm planning to have my oil changed every 5k/3mos, malamang sa toyota na lang rin ako kumuha next time.

    thanks again

u can save money po by using toyota regular motor oil.. only 130 pero liter... but ask nyo muna sa casa.. some casas dont allow customers to bring in their own oil eh... u can get oil sa labas... mga 100-110 pesos po

and.. dont use oils na ndi nyo pa naririnig ang names.. madami dyan na ndi ok ang quality.. but nabebenta lang dahil sa tieups with dealers.. etc etc

not advisable ang fully synthetic oils sa brand new engines. kailangan at least 5,000 km. na tinakbo ng car bago mo palitan ng fully synthetic oil.

fully synthetic oil gamit ko on 5kms...

Nasa 5K+ na yung odo ko and I would like to check if there are any bad effects on this on my car. Diesel Engine pala yung car.

    appricate any inputs.

    Thanks.

those are for their fully synthetic offerings. my rav4 is running on mobil1 right now (my casa is toyota shaw-ortigas).

mobil1 is one of the best (and also expensive) motor oil around.

btw, I used to buy oil before from chieffy and have it used on my rav4 for my PMS. no problem with those guys at toyota shaw-ortigas.

I agree. The cylinders need the regular motor oil for around 5k mileage to ensure better fit with the piston and piston rings....hehehe

Mobil 1 FS oil ng Toyota? If that's the case, magandang klaseng oil yan sir. I think Casa is selling Php600+/Li for their FS oil.

at 1000 km (621 miles), your engine is still breaking in. there is no need to change the oil at this time nor is there a need to add anything to the engine oil. adding friction modifiers only prolong the break in period and your average fuel economy would still be poor. follow the owner's manual recommendations.

1000km check-up ng vios 1.3, ano oil ipapalagay ko
