October 5th, 2007 01:35 AM #1it happened to me 3x na, nangyayari yan pag ung balljoint sa ilalim ng gulong ay bumagsak (nagcollapse) so tutukod un sa mag wheels, pag tumukod bakal sa bakal yan, di yan aandar kahit itulok napakahirap itulak, kung ipwepwersa mo paandaarin u will hear a screaching sound, thats ur magwheels getting destroyed kasi kinakayod, then para ka ngang naka handbrake kasi ung gulong na nastuck di aandar at mamamatayan ka ng engine kahit malakas ang revolution ng makina, kasi di nya kaya... usually what u will do is actually do the repair on site... buy a new bushing (ball joint) sa autosupply then replace it ( perhaps with a mechanic)..
with my first experience, what happened was pagbagsak sa humps biglang nagstuck ung gulong di umandar tinry itulak, itinry buhatin ung isang side ng body para umandar to no avail, so na tow to the nearest auto mechanic
with the next experience ganun din, siguro wear and tear kasi rumurupok din un pag di napapalitan, kaya bumigay, dis time tinry ko paandarin kinayod ung gulong, then tinabi ko, then have it replaced with a mechanic na nahanap ko
next experience, nasira uli, this time sa village, i bought a replacement sa auto supply brought a mechanic, jacked the car and replaced it
thats in a span of several years...
hope this helps

October 5th, 2007 07:17 AM #4have the vehicle checked, it's hard to diagnose just like this. in my case, i didn't use the car for several days, with the handbrake up. when i drove it, it felt like the handbrake was still up and i wasn't moving that fast. then i heard something give and the brake pedal went really low (lubog) when i would step on it. i would also hear this weird sound everytime i'd step on the brakes. when i opened up the thing, i saw that the lining of the brake shoe (hope it's the correct term) had peeled off. good thing that was the only problem. had them changed and bled the brakes too, end of problem.

Engines also work harder, right?
