you sure it's a map? i think maf narin yung 99 na fords...

Here are the definition of two sensor. Magkaiba po sila ng gamit para sa engine kaya be sure na map sensor ang kailangan nyo.

MAP sensor - Refers to a manifold absolute pressure sensor, a variable resistor used to monitor the difference in pressure between the intake manifold at outside atmosphere.
MAF sensor (mass air flow sensor) - A device used in many fuel injected engines to measure the amount of air entering the engine so the computer can control the air/fuel mixture. Located ahead of the throttle body, the MAF sensor uses a heated wire or filament to measure airflow.

Oh, if we're talking about that kind of MAP, then, yes the Ford Lynx doesn't have one.

Get the service advisor to point out the piece you need. If it's a little black box on the intake tube, that's the MAF.
