HElLP.. what seems to be the problem of my car?

I drive a civic VTI 96 a/t.

problem:

1. Diba sa pag first turn mo ng key, iilaw ung mga icons sa dash (ex. oil, battery, engine icon) recently na experience ko pag turn ko ng key hinde umilaw yung mga icons.

2. When I was idling for about 3mins after I started the car sa parking lot, bigla na lang ito namatay.

why oh why???

I'm guessing kasi kelangan na ng maintenance nun car (change oil every 5k) since my car is nearing its 100k mileage nag decide ako na mag exeed muna sa usual maintenance mileage ko. add lang ng mga 3k kasi malapit na sya sa 100k at balak ko mag pa major tune up. para sabay sabay na lahat.

I don't think it is related to your oil maintenance. electrical problem yan.

if it always dies then it might be a dirty tb and iacv. have it cleaned. re: the lights, it could be a dead fuse or bulbs kaya ayaw na umilaw.

kadalasan ang nagiging sira niyan sa ignition switch , wornout na ang contact sa BLACK WITH YELLOW WIRE.

pero monitor muna sa wire na yan bago ka magpalit ng part ( use a test light) . yung white wire na kasama sa ignition switch = hot at all times
( battery power)
