hand break light wont go away

Did you check to see that your brake fluid level is okay? The light often serves multiple purposes... not just as a handbrake light.

Use grease. WD40 loosens parts quickly, but it is not long term lubricant...

maybe the switch has to be replaced because it is already defective beyond spraying.. it's not expensive.
but try adjusting first, if there is provision for adjustment.

silicone lasts longer than WD40. but good old grease lasts the longest. mahirap lang i-apply..

will try grease to lubricate the clutch springs etc..

if you're going to grease the clutch springs, i suggest you wipe them off lightly after, so's to avoid falling-grease-on-pants/shoes syndrome..

sir, already found out whats wrong..

apparently the fluid is not enough to keep the sensor floating inside the brake fluid cap.
