Uh, he didn't say he'll remove the rod itself, I think he demo'd why he needed to remove the 'rod' connection but I can't remember now why he said that procedure was necessary. I'll drop by his place next time and ask him again about this. BTW: the guy who installed my CDLS was 3rd party.
