ang fuel pump ng xl93 corolla e andun sa cylinder head, with the pump follower arm operated by the cam, tama ba? maybe punit na ulit yung diaphragm. check mo na lang, remove the valve cover and turn the engine (put a wrench on the crakshaft pulley and turn the engine by hand) until the cam on the fuel pump is at its lowest position. then you can activate the fuel pump follower by hand. pag may nakita ka na fuel leaking into the cylinder head then that's it, palit ka ulit ng pump. baka taiwan nabili mo?

it is possible that you frequently flooded your engine, which leads to some of the fuel ends up in the crankcase mixing with the oil... which is why there is a smell of gasoline in your oil...

there is also a possibility that your engine is running too rich... (air/fuel mixture)

take note, a small amount isn't harmful, which incase will evaporate when the engine heats up... downside is that gasoline is an effective solvent and it will dillute the oil which in turns reduce lubrication to the engine... and you know what will happens to the engine...

have your engine check by an experienced mechanic... only needs tune-up... while your at it also change the oil in the engine...

it will look like this. the lever with the spring is pushed up by the camshaft or push rod.
