6A12TT yung makina ng galant... dunno how much boost exactly, pero nong pinadyno nya sa autoplus, 240++hp at the flywheel, tapos mga 190++hp at the wheels... kelangan pa daw itune yung engine tapos ayusin daw yung air fuel mixture para mamaximize yung output :D

Tnx SS , post na rin rsult after the tweaks . bakit 190 lang ? I mean straight six at
twin turbo ? under 200 hp on the wheels ? how much boost ba ito SS ? kulit ko sorry

ok keep us updated , it's a nice and powerful motor pero kung ganun lang ang
power niya somethings wrong . even A/F mixture wont affect kasi kung stock motor
ang 6A12TT ng Mitsu , kahit na stock boost ito then making more than 200 hp on the
wheels is no doubt . tnx ulit bro !

October 25th, 2002 12:17 PM #8yung mivec nga na fto version 200 hp rated pero nung nadyno it pumps out only 152hp at the flywheel, kasi maraming factors kaya nagkaganun, but nevertheless nde pa rin yun magandang sukatan, sa power ng car same with gssplaya na galant TT.

October 26th, 2002 09:04 PM #9That engine indeed makes about 195 wheel HP more or less. Its running rich that's why power is yet to be optimized. Sadly, (for me at least) its been turned to a show-only car. With proper AFR and upping the boost, kaya siguro up to 210-215 wheel HP.
Based on experience, FWD cars loose about 30 HP from the crank to the wheels. Chalk that up to drivetrain losses. Expect to lose more if the wheels / tires are big and heavy, and if the car has a huge multi-piston brake kit.
On RWD cars, slightly more, about 40-50HP loss. AWD lose about 60-70 HP from crank to the wheels.

May 15th, 2004 02:50 AM #10Stock 6a12TT: 240hp at the crank at 10 psi stock boost
193 hp at the wheels on the dyno *10psi all stock
evos make 200-215hp at the wheels stock. Not very far IMHO
the last i heard is that the owner turned the car into a daily drive with full time AWD which probably lowers the dyno output even more. its a slow ass car anyway
thus the show car is dead, murals gone. it has been replaced by a car that can be used everyday, with a giant riceboy spoiler. sad no?Last edited by Sleeper; May 15th, 2004 at 02:59 AM.
