    I used to own an EG before... We have discovered kung ano ang flaw ng roof design nya....

    It is becuase walang anything in between nung support brace at nung sheet metal.... so with vibrations and moisture, nagdedevelop ang rust....

    You need to put something in between them to prevent direct contact nung roof sheet metal nad brace support... parang gum sya or something (di ko alam ang tawag eh)... or di kaya, yung parang asphalt na layer (or flashband will do)....

    Have it done at a paint specialist shop. Casa just hires ordinary paint guys and make them wear Honda shirts. How do I know? My el-cheapo paint guy works for the casa, too. Not very skilled pero ok lang sakin kasi cheap lang. Pero kung sisingilin niya ko ng presyong casa, no thank you! hehehe.

    Palitan mo yung affected area. Graft new sheetmetal on. Pero dapat mas malaki dun sa affected area ang alisin niyo para hindi kumalat and do proper paint prep.

    Did you put something inbetween when u had your EG? So how long or no rust ever since?

    i'm not sure kung ano dun sa mga nabanngit ko yung nilagay before... but before namin nabenta yung EG ko, the paint was almost 4 years na... no rusting....
