Driver door problem help!

you have to have the door siding removed, to see what's wrong. but usually, the problem is easy to see..

so what's the most difficult part? not seeing what's wrong. because i would have to open the front passenger door and see what's there that isn't on the non-opening driver's door innards..

tip: inspect the door's bottom panel on the inside. usually, whatever broke or fell, is just lying there.
