Door Glass help!

Hi i have an 89 toyota tercel and yung door glass na nakainstall nung nakuha namin sya is plexiglass.

Thru the years daw eh nagwarp sya due to heat..

Wala naman akong mahanap na replacement glass.. Tried aguila wala daw sa suppliers nila,

Meron kayang gumagawa ng door glass or nag-cu-cut? para kukuha nalang ako ng surplus na medyo malaki then papacut ko sana..

Eto sya if papansinin nyo yung right door glass ko is warped

Chances are, it should have a same part on the Toyota model line up for that year. Have you tried those AE windows? Looks like kasya.

Already asked from a forum of tercel owners they said that the door glass is unique and does not have any similar sized windows from other models.
So i'm looking for a glass cutter which could cut a larger sized window so that it could fit. If that's possible.

Masyado mahal kasi if oorder ako online. Around $40-50 lang yung door glass but yung shipping cost is aroung $300. Sakit sa bulsa :|

maybe you know of someone, a relative perhaps, who is going abroad and/or coming home... baka puedeng hand-carried. seriously!
also, maybe these tercel guys can help you source the part..

You can opt for "larger" windows from other models, but bear in mind that the glass has to have the correct curvature, when viewed from the side. If not, then it would still not fit, and may possibly jam on your window mechanism.

For now wala pa eh, maybe after 3-5 years pa yung pwedeng bumalik from abroad.. Ayoko naman mag plexiglass ulit, but kapag naexhaust na lahat ng effort to find a glass no choice ako.

Ok will keep that in mind. Will look for Starlet (EP82) door glass so that the curvature won't be that much different. But still hoping there would be any auto glass shops that could do cutting.. Will try to go to banawe again this weekend maybe also evang.

try Cedorada eto po number nila 5332115 5321325, i ordered 1/4" thick glass for our bain marie at the office, di sya available sa local glass store dahil naka curve sya kaya si cedorada ay nagfabricate ng glass for our bain marie.

BTW, di pwedeng icut ang glass from other car kasi tempered na po ito mababasag lang.

what you need to do is:

1) pull out one of the flexi glass na nakainstall to make it the sample model.
2) contact any glass supplier big glass company, i think SPI, Arlo Aluminum and the like fabricate glass of any size and shape and then tempered it.

try to look for the numbers of the above and instead of looking for auto glass for your car model ask them if they can fabricate a glass for you and you have a sample model.
